Seriously Considering
So, after moving to ID, I got to thinking. I have always, always wanted to be a teacher. And realizing that there is really now where for a career to go here for me, I want to get my teaching certificate! In the state of Idaho, there is a program where you take some classes online and take a few tests and if all goes well....you can teach! The first two years after you get your certificate, you must work under a mentor. Someone to guide you along the way your first years teaching. I have always wanted to teach high school history but I do really great with small kids too. I have decided to start with Elementary Ed and if all goes well, I will go get my masters degree and teach high school! I just have to make the final decision to go forward with this new phase of my life. Maybe I would be much happier living here in Idaho if I was doing what I really have wanted to do my whole life! Exciting but scary at the same time!

New
Hey Everyone!
So, I am totally new to this blog thing but I figured since I am living a new life...why not give it a try! So here it goes. For those of you who don't know, I graduated from Central Washington University this Winter with a degree in Tourism Management. At the end of December, I moved to Sun Valley, Idaho to live with my fiance, Mike.
Yes! I said FIANCE! After I got done with classes at CWU, my family went on vacation to Cabo for Christmas. Mike came along with me, my parents, my mom's sister, my mom's brother and his girls, my grandparents and my brother. On December 21st a few of us went to Lover's Beach for the afternoon and while we were over there...he proposed! It could not have been more perfect! We are very excited!
Well, back to moving to Idaho. I finished my internship at a Fractional Ownership Resort and the Chamber of Commerce and received my diploma in March 2008! I now am working at a business called, That's Entertainment. I do their wine sales AND we also do party rentals! Kinda getting my feet wet to be able to work in the event industry. So far so good. Other than I feel that my heart truely lies with teaching.
That gets us into where I am considering going back to school and getting my teaching certificate! Yes, I know, I am crazy! But really! I miss college! It was so much easier than this "real" world! I ACTUALLY LIKED SCHOOL! I must be insane! But really. We will see where it goes!
As for wedding updates. We have set a date! July 18, 2009! SO FAR AWAY! But since we are getting married in Olympia, it is best that we take a longer time to plan! Sad thing is...I have most of it done already! I have the venue, caterer, DJ, photographer, we are doing our own flowers, a friend is doing the cake...I have my dress on order...sad, yes i know! But I am so bored in Idaho...what else am I supposed to do! All there really is left to do is plan a honeymoon, do invitations, and little odds and ends that need to be tied up with everything else!
Well, That is all I have for you today! If you don't hear from me before Memorial Day Weekend....EVERYONE BE SAFE!!!!!!
